Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
Basically, all you told me in the opening segment was that RVD might get another title shot. You just hinted that perhaps, Edge and Van Dam might meet in the ring again. Dude, that would kinda suck. I mean, I know RVD's a great wrestler, but it's time for him to step down and let someone else get some attention in the title picture.
Pretty good situation you got going on with the Paperweights. I like the interference from Noble, and yet how Aries won anyway. Of course, Noble coming back in was an unexpected touch. You could've just left it with Aries getting the win and celebrating, but we know you better than that. Should be a great gauntlet match.
Very interesting interview with CM Punk. He got straight to the point, which is a good thing. This is turning out to be a 'this time, it's personal' confrontations. Should be a SlobberKnocker.
Danielson is in a very smug and comfortable position, considering what just happened. He definitely has the Edge heading into the gauntlet.
Another squash for Lesnar. Hoo-ray. Dude, I hope you find somebody to face him soon. These squash matches are getting old... fast. I'm serious this time.
Text-book Heyman and ECW. This should be awesome in the coming weeks. Joe's matches to have stipulations. That should be very exciting. I can't wait to see where you take this.
Things are definitely getting wild in this one! I loved the confusion! Hernandez hits Homicide with the steel chair on accident! Great twist! I wouldn't expect the WGTT to be the heroes, but I guess it's better than nobody. But still, Haas and Benjiman don't seem to be the type of people to do that sort of thing.
Shelley, Strong and Aries, huh? Never heard of Generation Next. Must be an independent promotion thing. I don't know. Anyway, sounds like a powerhouse stable. Pretty exciting stuff.
Great promo for heels Haasan and Davari. Nice way to promote the tag team match next week. They were very in character and believable. Looking forward to the tag team match.
Sweet main event with an awesome finish. I loved the Y2J thing at the end. I loved how Christian wasn't at all worried about Jericho. Plus, to see Joe run off the ropes and Christian counter by hitting that finishing Unprettier, was pretty cool. So, Cage is the No. 1 contender, huh? Awesome. Sucks for Jericho, obviously.
Overall - 88/100 = B+
Superb show, PANA. Not much else to say. Looking forward to the next show in Detroit. That Haasan/Davari v. Shelley/Strong should definitely be the highlight of the show. Also, I was wondering if you could put Chris Hero into the EPW picture. He's my favorite independent wrestler and I think you could do a good job with him. Just a suggestion. Anyhoo, good luck in the near future!
