Well Taker/HBK is on From The Vault but I imagine its also on that Taker DVD.

Also, Taker/Foley is on Foley's Hits and Misses, but once again its probably on the Taker DVD as well I assume.

Other than that, I don't think there are any other ones that are on non-PPV DVD's.

Thats's why if the HIAC DVD contains most HIAC matches, it should be a must buy.

Anyway, I started going thru my old ECW collection from the beginning and figured I throw out a quick review.

ECW Hostile City Showdown 95(Damn this is old now, but regardless this was a very memorable event in ECW for a few reasons.)

Stevie Richards/Mikey Whipwreck-**-(Nothing special)

Ian Rotten/Axl Rotten-Bad Breed Deathmatch-***1/4(This is just a brutal encounter even by today's standards. This was during their legendary string of hardcore matches in 95)

Tommy Dreamer/Raven-**3/4-***(They've had much better matches, Wrestlepalooza 97 specificially but this produced one of the most memorable moments in ECW history. After Raven pins him, Dreamer attacks the ref,Stevie, and then piledrives Beulah. This lead to the infamous scene of Dreamer in the middle of the crowd with everyone chanting ECW. Great moment.)

Eddie Guerrero/Dean Malenko-ECW TV Title-****3/4-*****(It really doesn't get much better than this. This match is just as good if not better than their farewell 2/3 falls match IMO. This match has it all, unbelievable technical wrestling, highflying action and supreme chemistry.
Match ends after the 30 minute time limit expires, classic match.

Shane Douglas/Sandman-ECW World Title-**1/4-(Not a great match but an important moment. Douglas loses the belt and then puts on Monday Night RAW t-shirt and leaves the ECW arena. He would only have a brief run in the WWE before coming back to ECW later that year.)

The Pitbulls/Public Enemy-ECW Tag Titles-***(This is a great and wild brawl. Over the arena, nothing technical like Malenko/Guerrero obviously but a very enjoyable match. Kinda sad to watch knowing that 3 of the 4 guys in the ring are no longer with us.)

Terry Funk/Cactus Jack-***-***1/4(Another wild and crazy brawl that is infamous in ECW history. Funk and Jack brawl over the arena and up on the stage, Jack pins Funk after a weak finish. But the fun was still to come, after the match The Sandman is beating down on Jack and Funk goes to the back comes out with the flaming branding iron. He prods Jack with it and at one point puts it on him for a very noticeable amount of time. The fans are somewhat shocked but yet they can't turn away. One of the crazier moments in ECW history.)

Overall, this a very fun show. The Malenko/Guerrero match is one of my favs ever and Funk/Cactus, Ian/AXL and Pitbulls/Enemy are good fun brawls.

Most people prob have never seen this show but you can probably find some of these matches online.

Highly recommended, full of classic and legendary moments.
