Cyber Sunday Preview
Randy Orton © vs. Triple H – WWE Title Match

WWE fans around the world have been voting on what type of match these two will face off in. Whether it is a Steel Cage match, a last man standing match or a No holds barred match, it’s sure to be a rough encounter. Triple H and Randy Orton have been involved in a bitter rivalry in recent weeks, with Cody Rhodes also being involved. It began after Triple H saved Cody Rhodes from the punt from Randy Orton three weeks ago, and in recent weeks Triple H and Cody Rhodes have gotten the upper hand over Randy Orton in handicap matches. But it was Triple H that was chosen to face Orton for the title on Sunday by William Regal, and it’s sure to be an epic encounter. Will Triple H get the victory and become the 10-time champion? Or will the legend killer record another victory over Triple H, and walk out still the WWE champion?

The Intercontinental Champion Mr Kennedy will team with his brother-in-law Shane McMahon at Cyber Sunday, with their father and sister at ringside supporting them. But the relationship between the two brothers is hanging by a thread, but their father hasn’t noticed yet. Their problems started ever since Mr Kennedy was announced as a McMahon, with Shane McMahon giving his brother dirty looks in recent weeks. And the two almost came to blows at Unforgiven, when Shane attempted to hit Kennedy with a chair, only to miss and hit Kennedy’s opponent. That led to Mr Kennedy demanding that Shane teams with him at Cyber Sunday a few weeks ago on Raw, in order for Shane to prove that he’s ‘with him’. The fans will choose the teams’ opponents, but no doubt the focus in this match is how well the brothers team together. Will Shane O’Mac and Mr Kennedy but their differences behind them and make their father proud? Or will their opponents capitalize on the disintegrating relationship of the two brothers? And will the brothers come to blows?

The straightedge superstar CM Punk has certainly had the upper hand over Montel Vontavious Porter in recent weeks. CM Punk earnt a chance at the World Title when he defeated Elijah Burke at Unforgiven in a no.1 contenders match, and CM Punk made it clear on the next Smackdown show that he would be using the opportunity at Cyber Sunday. MVP has been slightly distracted in recent weeks, as he has desperately trying to secure a date with lovely diva Kristal Marshall. He has asked her on a date many times in recent weeks, to which he has not yet had a response. The distraction has possibly given CM Punk the upper hand in recent weeks. Punk has hit the champ with the GTS for three weeks in a row leading up to this Sunday’s PPV, and many are saying that Punk has MVP’s number. But you can’t rule out MVP retaining his title, especially if he shows the talent that has beaten the likes of Rey Mysterio and Kane in recent weeks. Will CM Punk continue his recent good fortune against MVP, and win the title just over two months after he joined the Smackdown brand? Or will MVP show his class and pull out the victory? And will MVP attempt to talk to the lovely Kristal before his match?
‘A Mystery returning superstar’ vs. ????

A mystery superstar will return to the WWE on Sunday, when he takes on an opponent of the fans’ choice. Recent Cyber Sunday advertisements have suggested that the returning superstar is a legend in the WWE, now WWE fans around the world are desperate to find out who it is. Whoever it is, they will not have an easy return match, as all three potential competitors are credible opponents. Carlito is known for his in-ring talent and is a tricky customer. The young and talented middle eastern has been on a roll recently, and with the monster Big Daddy V by his side he is also a threat to the returning superstar. Santino Marrella is also a tricky competitor, and if he is voted in he will no doubt cause problems. Will the superstar who gets voted in put a dent in the return of the superstar? Or will the returning legend start off his second spell in the WWE with a victory?
Cryme Tyme © vs. The Worlds Greatest Tag team – World Tag team Title match

This match was just thrown together on Raw this past week, with the Worlds Greatest Tag Team earning a shot at Cryme Tyme’s titles after defeating London and Kendrick. Cryme Tyme has been on form recently, and have enjoyed a successful title reign since winning the titles earlier this year. They have already fended off the challenges of Murdoch and Cade and the Highlanders, now they must face off the most naturally talented tag team in the WWE, in Benjamin and Haas. The two teams are perhaps the most dissimilar teams in wrestling today, with the WGTT having successful amateur wrestling careers and Cryme Tyme being from the mean streets of Brooklyn, New York. They will face off in a match of the fans’ choosing, and the favorite being a ladder match. Some say a regular match would favor the challengers and an elimination match would favor the champs, but the ladder match would be something new with both teams, with only Shelton Benjamin having experience in ladder matches out of the four competitors. Whatever match the fans vote for, it’s sure to be a must-see match. Will Cryme Tyme keep their titles? Or will The WGTT win tag team gold once more?
Matt Hardy © vs. ????? - U.S title match

Matt Hardy became the U.S champion for the first time around a month ago when he defeated then U.S Champ MVP on Smackdown. But Hardy hasn’t had much competition since then, and that led him to request a title defense on Sunday, but he might just regret it. The fans will choose from the young and talented Burke, Dykstra, and the tough veteran Finlay. And in recent weeks the three possible opponents have been trying to outdo each other, in order to gain votes. But this past week on Smackdown Matt Hardy stood over all three of his potential opponents and declared that he isn’t afraid of anyone. Will Matt Hardy keep hold of his title? Or will his chosen opponent become the new U.S champ?
Booker T w/ Sharmell vs. ?????

King Booker announced that he had gone back to being Booker T this past week on Raw, but the signs were there for a while as Booker T has looked more like his former self every week. Booker T has been involved in a rivalry with The Sandman in recent weeks, which started when Booker viciously assaulted him backstage. Booker T again viciously assaulted The Sandman on Monday night Raw this past week and put on a ‘demonstration’ of all the possible match stipulations. But we found out after the show that The Sandman was injured due to the assault, and he has since been ruled out for Cyber Sunday. GM William Regal then decided to let the fans choose who Booker’s opponent will be, letting them choose from Jeff Hardy, Super Crazy and even inviting Smackdown superstar Rey Mysterio to be a possible choice. Booker will face a tough match whoever the fans vote in, but the aggressive Booker T will take some beating too. Will the fans’ choice pick up the win against Booker? Or will the ‘street thug’ show his new aggressive side and pick up the win?
Hardcore Holly vs. Chris Masters

Option C: Masterlock challenge
This grudge match is one to watch for all those smash-mouth fans, as these two superstars can’t wait to go at it. This rivalry started on the night that Hardcore Holly returned to Smackdown, when he was due to take the masterlock challenge, but Hardcore Holly ended up hitting Masters over the head with a chair. The rivalry has escalated over the past few weeks, with Masters attacking Holly backstage. Hardcore Holly attempted to attack Masters this past week on Smackdown, but Masters managed to escape. But Hardcore Holly will get his hands on masters on Sunday, in a stipulation of the fans’ choosing. The match is sure to be rough. Will Holly gain revenge and beat Masters? Or will The Masterpiece come out on top?
John Cena vs. John Morrison

This rivalry has been running for a while, but properly started after the two lost a three-way match for the WWE title, also involving Randy Orton. John Cena lost the match and the following night on Raw John Morrison said that it’s Cena’s fault that he didn’t win the WWE Title. The two have been involved in a bitter rivalry since then and were set to go one-on-one on Raw two weeks ago, only for Morrison to postpone their match. But a match was announced for Cyber Sunday, in which the fans can vote for the stipulation. John Cena lost patience with Morrison this past week on Raw and attacked him backstage, so the tension is still running high. Will John Morrison come out on top? Or will John Cena defeat his long-time rival?
