WWE Smackdown! Preview October 5 2007
Smackdown will air tonight for the first time since the ECW Draft this Monday night on Raw. It’s known that former ECW champion CM Punk will be in action tonight. Also former ECW Originals Tommy Dreamer and Balls Mahoney will tag together against the team of Jesse and Festus. Will these former ECW, and newly Smackdown superstars kick off their stay on Friday Nights with a win?
Also, Vickie Guerrero has said that she has an announcement to make at the start of the show regarding Batista. What could she have to say? Does it have Cyber Sunday implications?
It’s confirmed that this Friday night, the WWE Tag Team Champions, the unlikely pairing of Matt Hardy and MVP, will be defending the WWE Tag Team Championships against the team who they won the titles from, Deuce and Domino. Can Matt Hardy and MVP coexist and retain the titles? Or will Deuce and Domino reclaim their titles?
And finally, after weeks of the Cruiserweight Championship being vacant, Smackdown will finally gain a new champion. Vickie Guerrero has confirmed that Jamie Noble, Nunzio, Jimmy Wang Yang, Jamie Noble and Funaki will contest the Cruiserweight Gauntlet. Who will leave Smackdown the new Cruiserweight Champion? Find out this Friday night on the CW Network.
