Re: Official PPV Card Prediction/Dream Card Thread
Well, Bound for Glory has come and gone which means only one thing, Start predictions for Genesis!
I say the text-poll results in a Kurt Angle v Sting rematch. And Jim Cornette, furious at Angle, wants to make sure it's a fair fight. So he sets up a nuts-o mixed tag team match. Kevin Nash and Karen Angle vs Matt Morgan and Amazing Kong.
Meanwhile, Gail Kim is dealing with opposition from Jackie Moore and maybe Christy Hemme (depending if her injury is serious or not). We might also throw in a feud between Traci Brooks and Roxxi Leveau, thought that might have to be contained on iMPACT.
With the X-division, on the first iMPACT a 4-way dance between Jimmy Rave, Petey Williams, Sonjay Dutt, and Shark Boy gives Petey Williams the number one title shot against Jay Lethal. However, Christopher Daniels will have none of this, and demands he be included. The Genesis championship match ends up being Petey Williams vs Jay Lethal vs Christopher Daniels.
As for the Fight for the Right
I see Kaz winning over Lance Hoyt, however Hoyt will later screw Kaz out of his title shot, thus leading to a Kaz-Hoyt feud.
I see Sabin vs Shelly not even ending with a winner. Team 3D comes out and attacks both of them, thus throwing the whole match out. MCMG vs Team 3D at the PPV.
Eric Young vs James Storm, Storm wins with some beer spit in the face of Young
Junior Fatu vs Robert Roode. I call Fatu winning only because I think they want Fatu involved in the final four way dance.
Thus, at Genesis: Hoyt vs Storm vs Fatu. As for the empty slot left by the MCMG's, Chris Harris can fill that in. Winner of the match, Storm.
Now for the tag division. We already have LAX vs Tomko & AJ. I see a feud for MCMG and Team 3D, but that still leaves VKM, XXX, Steiner Bros, and to a less extent: Eric Young & Shark Boy. I'm not sure what to do with that collection. I could see VKM vs Steiner Bros as they're both big guys, but that's about all.
The big question might be what to do with all the main eventers. The Fight for the Right has no former champions in it. That leaves Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, Abyss all twiddling their thumbs. I'm not sure if they'll force their way into the tournament or what.
