Default Re: Official PPV Card Prediction/Dream Card Thread

My dream card for Bound for Glory (based on the direction of the product now anyway):

TNA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Kurt Angle (c) vs. Sting
w/Pacman Jones & Ron Killings as Guest Enforcers

- Angle walks out on Sting during their tag title match, deciding it would be best to save his energy for his match with Abyss later in the night. Despite this, Sting is able to pin Ron Killings and retain the tag titles. Ron Killings then cost Sting the tag titles in a match with Triple X (Skipper/Senshi) on Impact (Angle once again leaves him high and dry) Pacman also reveals that he found out it was Kurt Angle who attacked him at Hard Justice, and Angle admits it, stating that Pacman was stealing his thunder. Sting then challenges Angle to a World Title Match at Bound for Glory, and Cornette names Killings & Pacman as guest enforcers, which leads to problems between them since Pacman has heat with Angle and Killings with Sting. Sting and Angle continue feuding leading into the PPV, while Killings and Pacman each promise to have a role in the outcome of the match.

CONTENDER'S MATCH
Samoa Joe vs. Christian Cage

- Who wouldn't want to see this match again? Nothing too fancy with the build up here. Just say both guys want to be World Champion, and they just compete for the shot.

X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP: TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Christopher Daniels (c) vs. Jay Lethal vs. Kaz

- Quite possibly the three best guys in the X Division, so why not? Daniels with Triple X, remembering how Lethal stole his contenders spot from him, costs Lethal the match with Angle at No Surrender. Angle then gives Daniels an X title match on Impact as payment for helping him. Sting tries to payback Angle for leaving him in the tag match, and Daniels picks up the win. Lethal immediately challenges Daniels for a title match, but with Kaz being so impressive lately, he can not be overlooked, so it is decided that Daniels will defend the title in a Triple Threat Match and Triple X will be barred from ringside, keeping it a fair match.

TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Triple X (c) vs. The Latin American Xchange
- Should open the PPV. LAX wins the tag team gauntlet held at No Surrender, which pushes them up the latter. Skipper & Senshi win the titles from Sting/Angle (stated above) and begin feuding with LAX, who have recently begun a partnership with Hector Guerrero.

TAG TEAM TABLES MATCH: LOSING TEAM LEAVES TNA
Team 3D vs. The Steiner Brothers
- This match has practacally written itself. Steiners come back at No Surrender, and cost Team 3D the tag team battle royal/gauntlet. The Steiner Brothers then throw down the challenge for a tables match at Bound for Glory, and Team 3D accpets, only with with stipulation that the losing team must leave. I'm assuming that Team 3D is not resigning, so this will be a proper farewell to them.

FINALS OF TNA TV TITLE TOURNAMENT
Chris Harris vs. AJ Styles

Just to show you how much I thought this out:

1st Round:
Chris Harris vs. Robert Roode: Harris wins
James Storm vs. Eric Young: Storm wins
AJ Styles vs. Rhino: AJ wins thanks to Interferance from Storm
Matt Morgan vs. Tomko: Morgan wins

2nd Round
Chris Harris vs. James Storm: Harris wins when Rhino prevents Storm from cheating.
AJ Styles vs. Matt Morgan: Tomko interferes to give AJ the win.

and the finals are AJ vs. Harris. A bit of a dream match for me, so I would really like to see it. AJ could cut promos saying that he will advance his legacy by being the first in TNA to win the TV title and become the first to hold all four titles in TNA. Harris can then talk about how his star is on the rise, and its his chance to shine.

NO DISQUALIFICATIONS MATCH
Abyss vs. Judas Messias
- Obvious set up here would be to have Messias debut at No Surrender and cost Abyss the match with Angle. Messias then goes on a destructive path on Impact, destroying no name jobbers and low level superstars, while Mitchell cuts promos saying that Abyss has finally met a man that he fears. This sets up the major bloodbath that will happen at Bound for Glory.

MONSTER'S BALL IV
Rhino vs. James Storm vs. Matt Morgan vs. Tomko

- Kind of just an excuse to get this guys on the card. Cage & Cornette continue to bicker, their two hired guns begin to go at it. Morgan defeats Tomko in the first round of the TV title tourney but Tomko costs him the match with AJ Styles in the 2nd round (state above) Rhino and Storm also continue their feud after a third match at No Surrender (in which Rhino is victorious), and they cost each other matches in the TV title tournament. Realizing that these bitter feuds stemmed from the same tournament and they need to be resolved, Cornette throws them all into the match together and turns them loose.

TAG TEAM FATAL FOUR WAY
Motor City Machine Guns vs. Eric Young/Shark Boy vs. Petey Williams/Sonjay Dutt vs. Robert Roode/Lance Hoyt

-OK first of all, I would fire VKM before I gave them a spot on my card. Like Monster's Ball, this is just another way to get guys on the card. This match is set up rankings in the tag team division. Robert Roode (not wanting to be left out of Bound for Glory) weasels his way into this match buy paying Lance Hoyt to be his tag tema partner. Meanwhile, Sabin & Shelley continue to get under the skin of X Division superstars and tag teams alike, resulting in EY/Sharky & Petey/Sonjay teaming up just to get a piece of them. This is the only match in which I will book a winner. It should definately be Motor City Machine Guns.

So that would be my card based on what I am seeing out of TNA right now. I don't think I'm stretching too much with some of those either.
