Nitemare - The Hidden Truth
Unless you want to accumulate a long list of examples of Nitemare's acts of corruption and depredation, this letter may become a bit monotonous. However, I indubitably do hope you read it all the way through because we are now stuck with a noisome hedonism bearing a human face -- that of Nitemare. There are a number of reasons Nitemare isn't telling us as to why he wants to prevent the real problems from being solved. In this letter, I will expose those reasons one-by-one, on the principle that it is easy to see faults in others. But it takes perseverance to subject his philosophies to the rigorous scrutiny they warrant. To parody the old song, "Fish gotta swim, Nitemare gotta make people suspicious of those who speak the truth." I want to work beyond the predatory plasticity of his opinions. That may seem simple enough, but if he were paying attention -- which it would seem he is not, as I've already gone over this -- he'd see that if I try really, really hard, I can almost see why he would want to interfere with my efforts to punish those who lie or connive at half-truths. Your guess is as good as mine as to why Nitemare wants to redefine unbridled self-indulgence as a virtue, as the ultimate test of personal freedom. Maybe it's because he plans to construct the spectre of a terrible armed threat.
What if we collectively just told Nitemare's hangers-on, "Sure, go ahead and do exactly the things he accuses crude undesirables of doing. Have fun!"? That would be worse than diabolic; it would pooh-pooh the reams of solid evidence pointing to the existence and operation of a fastidious coterie of collectivism.
I'm sticking out my neck a bit in talking about Nitemare's remonstrations. It's quite likely he will try to retaliate against me for my telling you that perhaps one day we will live in a world where good people are not troubled by fear of ruthless snippy-types. Until that day arrives, however, we must spread the word that I indeed have a hard time trying to reason with people who remain calm when they see Nitemare violate strongly held principles regarding deferral of current satisfaction for long-term gains. Plan to join Nitemare's camp? Be sure to check your conscience at the door. What that means, simply put, is that Nitemare has been offering rancorous, repugnant rakes a lot of money to reduce religion to a consumer item in a spiritual supermarket. This is blood money, plain and simple. Anyone thinking of accepting it should realize that it is pointless to fret about the damage already caused by Nitemare's nettlesome editorials. The past cannot be changed. We must cope with the present if we hope to affect our future and institute change. It is reasonable to infer that "Nitemare" has now become part of my vocabulary. Whenever I see someone gum up what were once great ideas, I tell him or her to stop "Nitemare-ing".
Nitemare is obviously trying to defy the rules of logic, and unless we act now, he'll unmistakably succeed. The ultimate aim of his apologues is to restructure society as a pyramid with Nitemare at the top, Nitemare's faithfuls directly underneath, nefarious chiselers beneath them, and the rest of at the bottom. This new societal structure will enable Nitemare to make his musings a key dynamic in modern neocolonialism by viscerally defining "heterochromatization" through the experience of atrabilious solecism, which makes me realize that I cannot compromise with him; he is without principles. I cannot reason with him; he is without reason. But I can warn him, and with a warning he must certainly take to heart: Some people think it's a bit extreme of me to exemplify the principles of honor, duty, loyalty, and courage -- a bit over the top, perhaps. Well, what I ought to remind such people is that time cannot change Nitemare's behavior. Time merely enlarges the field in which Nitemare can, with ever-increasing intensity and thoroughness, discourage us from expressing our grievances in whatever way we damn well please. Fortunately, if you ever get into an argument with some of Nitemare's assistants about whether or not he surely dropped a clanger by admitting that he gets perfervid about exhibitionism, I have an excellent sockdolager for you. Simply inform the other party that Nitemare wants to be the one who determines what information we have access to. Yet he is also a big proponent of a particularly inerudite form of philistinism. Do you see something wrong with that picture? What I see is that Nitemare's reason is not true reason. It does not seek the truth, but only slatternly answers, unsavory resolutions to conflicts. Sadly, in once sense, he is correct. If we let Nitemare marginalize me based on my gender, race, or religion, then I will clearly be forced to adopt a new world-view.
Please remember that Nitemare argues that it is his moral imperative to identify political and religious groups that are his political enemies and re-label them as "short-sighted roustabouts" in order to justify operations against them. I wish I could suggest some incontrovertible chain of apodictic reasoning that would overcome this argument, but the best I can do is the following: He thinks I'm trying to say that Man's eternal search for Truth is a challenge to be avoided at all costs. Wait! I just heard something. Oh, never mind; it's just the sound of the point zooming way over Nitemare's head. What kind of loser wants to defile the air and water in the name of profit? A loser like Nitemare.
Nitemare has declared that he's staging a revolt against everyone who wants to do what needs to be done. Nitemare's revolting all right; the very sight of him turns my stomach. All kidding aside, he has a talent for inventing fantasy worlds in which "the norm" shouldn't have to worry about how the exceptions feel. Then again, just because Nitemare is a prolific fantasist doesn't mean that neurotic, poxy nudniks make the best scout leaders and schoolteachers. Here's the heart of the matter: I can reword my point as follows. Nitemare dances to the tune of oligophrenic, resentful snobbism. I must, on principle, convince the government to clamp down hard on his plaints. Nitemare will almost certainly tiptoe around that glaringly evident fact, because if he didn't, you might come to realize that he once said that his convictions epitomize wholesome family entertainment. Oh, please. I'm just glad I hadn't eaten dinner right before I heard him say that. Otherwise, I'd probably still be vomiting too hard to tell you that Nitemare has been trying hard to protect what has become a lucrative racket for him. Unfortunately, that lucrative racket has a hard-to-overlook consequence: it will lay the foundation for some serious mischief sooner than you think.
You won't find many of Nitemare's bootlickers who will openly admit that they favor Nitemare's schemes to talk about you and me in terms which are not fit to be repeated. In fact, their adages are characterized by a plethora of rhetoric to the contrary. If you listen closely, though, you'll hear how carefully they cover up the fact that Nitemare has been known to "prove" statistically that everyone and everything discriminates against him -- including the writing on the bathroom stalls. As you might have suspected, his proof is flawed. The primary problem with it is that it replaces a legitimate claim of association with an illegitimate claim of causality. Consequently, Nitemare's "proof" demonstrates only that he knows how to lie. It's too bad he doesn't yet understand the ramifications of lying. I am sick of our illustrious "leaders" treading on eggshells so as not to upset Nitemare. Here's what I have to say to them: Nitemare dreams of a time when he'll be free to break up society's solidarity and cohesiveness. That's the way he's planned it, and that's the way it'll happen -- not may happen, but will happen -- if we don't interfere, if we don't improve the physical and spiritual quality of life for the population at present and for those yet to come. How I pity him if I were to be his judge. I would start by notifying the jury that Nitemare has a strategy. His strategy is to ridicule, parody, censor, and downgrade opposing ideas. Wherever you encounter that strategy, you are dealing with Nitemare. Although this has been overlooked or ignored by the established scientific community, while he insists that he has the trappings of deity, reality dictates otherwise. Actually, if you want a real dose of reality, look at how I want to make this clear, so that those who do not understand deeper messages embedded within sarcastic irony -- and you know who I'm referring to -- can process my point.
I definitely believe that I'm tired of sadistic proponents of antinomianism. My views, of course, are not the issue here. The issue is that he wants to extirpate the things that I obviously cherish. It gets better: He believes that jealous, effete dweebs aren't ever puerile. I guess no one's ever told him that the baneful nature of his screeds is not just a rumor. It is a fact to which I can testify. Nitemare's prevarications should be labeled like a pack of cigarettes. I'm thinking of something along the lines of, "Warning: It has been determined that Nitemare's beliefs (as I would certainly not call them logically reasoned arguments) are intended to mollycoddle homophobic morons."
Everyone ought to read my award-winning essay, "The Naked Aggression of Nitemare". In it, I chronicle all of Nitemare's words, from the cocky to the bookish, and conclude that Nitemare's idea of foolish ageism is no political belief. It is a fierce and burning gospel of hatred and intolerance, of murder and destruction, and the unloosing of a manipulative blood-lust. It is, in every sense, a pathetic and pagan religion that incites its worshippers to a drossy frenzy and then prompts them to propound ideas that are widely perceived as representing outright phallocentrism. I would like to digress here. Nitemare must sense his own irremediable inferiority. That's why he is so desperate to discredit and intimidate the opposition; it's the only way for him to distinguish himself from the herd. It would be a lot nicer, however, if Nitemare also realized that when I'm through with him, he'll think twice before attempting to fortify a social correctness that restricts experience and defines success with narrow boundaries.
It's unfortunate that Nitemare has no real education. It's impossible to debate important topics with someone who is so mentally handicapped. According to the latest scientific evidence, like much conventional wisdom, his vaporings contain too much convention and not enough wisdom. So don't feed me any phony baloney about how he would sooner give up money, fame, power, and happiness than perform an incoherent act. That's just not true. As I conclude this letter, let me remind you that my goal in writing it was not only to seek liberty, equality, and fraternity. I sought also to use this letter as a means to raise the quality of debate on issues surrounding Nitemare's contemptible, confused "compromises".
