Re: WCW 2001- The Trio Ownership

WCW Wednesday Nitro Preview- November 7, 2001

World Championship Wrestling will host its next primetime edition of Wednesday Nitro on NBC this Wednesday night at 8 PM EST from the Memorial Gymnasium, in Nashville, Tennessee!! Join “The Voice of WCW” Tony Schiavone and “The Professor” Mike Tenay for another two-hour, action packed edition of World Championship Wrestling!

The main event is already signed and seal for tonight, so now, we just have to watch it deliver! ‘The Chosen One’ Jeff Jarrett challenged The Outsiders to a match for Nitro, and even said he’d put the Belt on the line to get the match. That challenge was answered by ‘Big Sexy’ Kevin Nash, and now the two will square off in this mega-main event! Jeff has showed signs of a different person ever since being “humiliated” by The Outsiders at Halloween Havoc, and now, this match is about a sense of pride for Jarrett. The Chosen One would like to be able to defeat Kevin Nash all by himself tonight, but as usual with the New World Order, is this the truth, or just a sly trick by Jarrett and his nWo cronies? Also, what factor will ‘The Bad Guy’ Scott Hall have in the Title match!? All of this will unfold only on Wednesday Nitro!

One other factor for tonight’s main event is where will the WCW World Heavyweight Title Belt be!? At the conclusion of last week’s show, ‘Big Poppa Pump’ Scott Steiner stormed the ring, clearing house on both nWo and WCW members, before attacking Jarrett. To end his attack, Steiner stole the World Title Belt! WCW President Eric Bischoff has been fuming all week over this incident, and wants the Title back! Will Steiner hand over the World Heavyweight Title Belt!? Or will Steiner cause mayhem for Eric Bischoff once again? Find out on Nitro!

Speaking of Bischoff, last week the President offered WCW North American Champion Lance Storm a spot in the New World Order. ‘The Career Killer’ Mike Awesome, Curt Hennig, and KroniK, all attempted to persuade Storm as well, and now we will hear from Storm! Will Storm become one of the many superstars who have been able to call themselves an nWo member? Or will Lance Storm become allied with the company that has made him a star, WCW? One can never tell with the success-minded Storm, as he is the kind of man to turn his back on something for success. It is the moment of truth for Lance Storm, on Nitro!

Also on Nitro, Konnan takes on The Wall! ‘The Insane Luchadore’ Super Crazy continues his war against the Flying Harts when he takes on Teddy Hart! The WCW Tag Team Champions, The Young Lions, are in action! Plus appearances by ‘Sugar’ Shane Helms, Billy Kidman and Tygress, ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair, the New World Order and ‘Hollywood’ Hulk Hogan, and much, much more! Nitro promises to be an exciting showcase of professional wrestling that you do not want to miss! Be sure to tune into NBC this Wednesday night at 8 PM EST to catch all the action!

Confirmed Matches:

WCW World Heavyweight Title- Jeff Jarrett © vs. Kevin Nash
Alex Wright & Disco Inferno vs. The Young Lions
Konnan vs. The Wall
Super Crazy vs. Teddy Hart

Keep the reviews coming for Nitro! All reviews that I owe shall be returned tonight.
