Those finishes are no big deal in the grand scheme of things. What is a problem are atrocious angles, bad booking, childish characters, silly storylines and just overall lazy writing. These are the reasons for poor buyrates.
Are you fucking serious? The wrestlers alone sold those PPV'S...Kane, Undertaker, Stone Cold, The Rock, Mankind, HHH, etc God knows who else, there were so many household names back then.

And you're comparing that to, Punk, Cena, Orton . . . . . . .And it ends there
