Hahaha, yes, Yasiel Puig is a PUNK! :mark: :lol

Learning what Nick Hundley said to him, Puig's overreactions are genuinely hilarious. :lmao

Just as Cashman drew it up! :woo J.A. Happ and Lance Lynn saving the Yankees' pitching! :woo

Red Sox are ridiculous. :lol Was just writing in the MLB thread about them. They might even take out the Mariners' 2001 regular season record of 116 wins. :sodone

:woo Hope the GIANTS sweep the Dodgers tonight and I hope the Yankees prevail over whoever they face in the AL wildcard game! :woo

    :woo YANKEES :woo GIANTS :woo

Yeah I hope the GIANTS unload Cutch... Although, if they sweep the Dodgers this week they might find themselves right in the middle of a pennant race after stumbling and bumbling for most of the summer. :lol

    :banderas Those Yankees! :cheer

That AL wildcard #2./AL West race. :banderas

Maybe the Giants can supply the Yankees with a bat in Andrew McCutchen. :mj :lol

I was watching last night's game and it was rather thrilling. Tanaka and Price were both outstanding. Then it was 4-1 Yankees. I decided to leave the game, figuring if the Yankees lose, I didn't wanna see it. :lol Also are the Yankees and Red Sox constitutionally incapable of having a game that doesn't go at least four hours? The pauses between pitches by both teams but especially the Red Sox is unbelievable. :done :lol

Haha! A's are definitely the hottest team in baseball right now, have been for about six or so weeks, right?

But the Braves and Phillies are impressive in their own right!

Mariners seem to be falling apart.

Astros not entirely convincing day to day.

    Yankees sort of slumping. :side:

Giants... being a boring .500 team. :lol

Red Sox running away with the AL East. :done :side:

    :lol Nats.

    How 'bout those Pirates? :hmm:

NL Central still feels wide open.

I'd much rather see either the Diamondbacks or Rockies win the NL West than the Dodgers. I hope the Dodgers miss the postseason altogether. I'd laugh. :)

Yes, Shalalalalalala, the NL West is crazy. :lol

I... I think I kind of want to see the Giants sell. I just don't believe in this iteration of this team. :lol

:bum to the Yankees. We should make it so. :curry2 ;)

Yes, it was a good game. Didn't end the way I would have liked, but :bum is back and if Strickland and Longoria don't conspire to let the Diamondbacks score that third run in the top of the 9th, the whole outcome might have been quite different indeed...

:sodone Yankees drafting two catchers... :sodone

That is honestly surprising. This seemed like a thin crop of catchers but apparently the Yankees grabbed two of the best non-BART options available at that position from what I was reading. So, looks like the Yankees, as usual, drafted well! :cheer Although we'll know better a few years from now.

I've said it a billion times but I was hoping the GIANTS would draft JUDGE back when... Then I saw him drafted by the Yankees. :sodone :mj2 :lol

Last game I went to was just a few short weeks ago, Monday night the 14th versus the Cincinnati Reds. GIANTS won. :curry2 :posey2

I'll probably go to a game this homestand, but not today nor tomorrow. We'll see. :hmm: :lol

That 4th of July idea sounds magnificent! You should definitely do that! Enjoy yourselves! :D

And of course as I'm sure you know I wasn't really teasing or poking fun at Yankee fans for lusting after :bum. I remember wise Yankee fans back in '07 wishing that they could have selected him in the draft. So many Yankees fans knew how good he would be, or at least had fair hunches toward so, long, long ago... :lol

Hope the Yankees go far this October, my friend. BASEBALL! :mark:

Severino is a special pitcher. I recall when I first joined the Wrestling Forum Baseball Dynasty Club or whatever it's called, and Severeino was one of the first prospects I selected. Maybe the first. :lol But yeah he's amazing. Loved watching mow down the Astros (no ill will toward Houston, either, and I thank them for beating the Dodgers in the World Series :lol)... And Verlander was fantastic against the Yankees a few weeks ago. You guys seem poised to go at one another in the postseason, likely, too. :lol

Severino's great. Adding a :bum to your rotation would make it a killer squad. :curry2

We'll see. Giants as a rule don't "sell"...

I love :bum. I would love for him to be a GIANT 4EVER, and all...

But... I couldn't resist that prospect package from NYY. :sodone

I love my Giants, but they need to undergo a rebuild. Trade :bum, trade McCutchen, trade all of the valuable bullpen pieces. Maybe even look to trade MVPanik (who was a Yankee fan growing up). Keep :posey2 and they're stuck with :pence (just a few more months), but yeah, keep Buster and Brandon Crawford and Brandon Belt just to give the fans something to cling to for the next few seasons, but I'd otherwise tear it down and rebuild. So a huge trade of :bum to the Yankees could be massive for making that rebuild into something that wouldn't take forever. :lol
