I still need to see a certain something.

Could you please re-send it to me? Sorry.

    Hey there. :)

Been a long, long time. :lol

    Too long!

(That was a reference to how long it's been since our last interactions, not the subject of your PM. :lol)

I've gotta get some sleep, and I'm going to be terribly busy the next three or so days (potentially for about a week)... But I will endeavor to sneak in enough time in which to make it happen in the next several days. :)

Take care, and thanks for the thought! Truly appreciated, my friend.

Wow, this is awesome. You're doing something with film and that's beyond words level great. I was gonna say some of those stills had a slightly Persona vibe about them to, then you mention Bergman as another influence for it and there we go. :cozy You've seen films from Tarkovsky, yes? That's what came out at me too, with the B&W cinematography and the locations. Always love to see inspirations like that, even if intentional or not.

Already intrigued by what you've shown. Can perhaps see how you mold it in the vein of the ever terrifying Winkie's Diner scene from Mulholland Dr. once it's laid out and watched. Would like to see it once you can finish it up, if possible.

The Stranger is true to his "pure", altruistic nature (kind of a spoiler - sorry). As for the Apu trilogy, I prefer Apur Sansar.

I've seen neither of those trilogies. Beautiful. I've had Ray's on my radar... but not Sen's. I'm familiar w/ Sen through Ek Din Pratadin & Khandar. As for Ray, favourites include: The Big City; The Stranger; Home and the World; Charluata. Not as big as others on The Chess Players & The Music Room (w/ the exception of the scene inspiring Bergman's god as a spider in Through a Glass Darkly). Saw Nayak recently. Interesting themes... but it fails to hold up to his best. And Ritwik Ghatak is another that deserves more attention than he gets.

Well, yeah, one only needs to consider the two films at either end of his oeuvre. Pather Panchali is one of the most self-assured debuts, perhaps rivaled only by Teshigahara's debut feature; and The Stranger is a whisper goodbye, but the quality remains completely undiminished.

Golden Lovers teamed with Chase Owens against Cody, Marty Scurll, & Hangman Page on the first night of Honor Rising. On the second night, they had their proper reunion against Cody & Marty Scurll

The Golden Lovers have been in 2 matches so far and as for what you've missed? There's the 46th Anniversary with Okada vs. Ospreay, Suzuki vs. Makabe, a Junior 3-Way, and the debut of Taichi in the Heavyweight division against Naito. Currently, they're doing the New Japan Cup tournament and the first round is over.

There are also multi-hour compilations of all of his Letterman / Conan appearances that I HIGHLY recommend.

This individual appearance is my all-time favourite. It starts off slow (with a terrible audience) but then he starts killing it as the show goes on, ending with one of the best few minutes of live TV I've seen.

The ending to A Bay of Blood was my favorite part. :cozy

Alice Sweet Alice though. Total depravity. Pedophilia, youthful evil, & Church symbolism/controversy. A nice combo.

Nosferatu the Vampyre though. Whew. Get ready for something harrowing & beautiful.
