How To Burn Mpegs and Avis To DVD's Using Nero
There have been many threads asking how to burn mpeg and avi files to DVD. This is how I do it running Nero.
I run Nero 6. You will need Nerovision Express as well. If you don't have Nero, you're out of luck with this thread. I also have a Nero Mega Plugin Pack which gives me more options that the standard Enterprise Edition.
The Plugin Pack can be downloaded here -
http://www.softpedia.com/progDownloa...oad-18886.html
Or if that site is having server troubles you can download the same pack from
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YHBMPBJI
Open Nero - DVD - Make Your Own DVD-Video
Add the files you want. They can be avis or mpegs. Nero will convert the files later to DVD/ISO files.
The files I have added are only 177MB but once converted they are 240MB.
Name your DVD. In this case I've named it Music Videos.
In this case each video will be it's own chapter. You can change the chapter settings if it is one file. You can look into that.
This is what you main menu page will look like.
Click Burn To... and tell Nero where you want the output file. Click Recording Settings and adjust them to your preference.
Click Burn. Depending on the speed of your computer this may take a couple of hours or half a day. Nero will convert the files to DVD/ISO files then burn them to your blank DVD.
Hopefully this'll help a few people out and stop the endless amount of threads asking how to burn mpegs and avis.
