Hello, BORT. How are you fairing today? I am just trying to not sweat my ass off in this Summer heat :flabbynsting

I really enjoyed it. Thought it was a fantastic origin for Wonder Woman and Chris Pine's casting as Steve Trevor really brought out the best in Gal Gadot's charisma and charm. The final showdown with Aries was a little rough but it wasn't enough to ruin the movie for me. I'd probably still rank Man of Steel as the top DCEU movie for now but it's definitely better than BvS and Suicide Squad.

What about yourself? I am assuming by your avatar that you hated it 8*D

It does feel nice but I kinda think a lot of the reviews are quite patronising. It's like I am being scalded for enjoying the previous DCEU movies. :mj2

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thought it was a fun movie. Deadman was hilarious.

My only complaint would be that perhaps Batman felt a little unnecessary at times. He could of departed once he brought Zatanna & Deadman to Constantine IMO. He should of just been an introductory character. But I get it, at least Batman's giving those other guys & gals some much needed exposure so it doesn't really bother me that much.

I've still yet to see it. Was going to go this week but my local theater is only showing it in 3D at the moment for some reason, so I need to wait till next week to see the 2D version.

On the plus side I think his script for JLD is still going to be used, well the foundations of it at least.

Perhaps you're friends are right though, maybe it would be wise for Del Toro to swallow his pride and do a couple movies as a gun for hire. I mean I would love to see him direct something from the MCU, DCU or even live action Disney movie. Use them as platforms to get some more exposure which might help boost his original ideas at the box office.

It's too late now but he would of been perfect for the Harry Potter universe. Just look at what Alfonso Cuaron did for The Prisoner of Azkaban.

Guillermo Del Toro just has no luck. He spends years working on The Hobbit only to be forced to walk away over MGM's financial woes. He gives us two wonderful Hellboy movies, but they barely break even. Asia saves Pacific Rim but the studio ends up balking at the last minute. And then there was Justice League Dark :cry

They had plans for a sequel but the movie bombed hard. Why must all the good ones fail while gahbidge like Transformers continues to flourish :mj2

I Saw The Devil was crazy, and I was happy to see him pop up in Lucy, even if that movie wasn't any good.

As for the soundtrack, it's one of my favorites.

    Frantic. :yoda
    Cries & Whispers. :yoda :yoda
