We often hear the “We all love each other!” line in interviews, but Twitter — that oh so magical place where heat-of-the-moment comments can never be taken back — has a funny way of showing people’s true opinions of each other and to the shock of no one, your favorite lockerrooms aren’t as harmonious as they appear.
Case in point: Current TNA Knockout Brooke Tessmacher and former TNA Knockout Angelina Love appeared to snark about each other on the social networking site yesterday after the five-time Knockouts Champion seemingly took offense to a tweet from Brooke.
The two-time champion responded to a question from a fan about tattoos, feeling that tattoos on women should be “classy, not trashy” and able to be covered by clothing.
Let's stop pulling a Drew Pinsky with the e-diagnosing.
She really wasn't making fun of her supposed bulimia/anorexia issues but stating something that is aesthetically obvious. Now if Brooke said, "bitch, go get help for your eating disorder" then yeah, that's insensitive. She simply told her to eat a burger and cool it with the tanning because it's aging her.
Angelina, as usual, likes to make passive aggressive comments and will never mention the person by name even when everyone knows who she is speaking of. Brooke wasn't talking about the girl but she just felt the need to instigate. This chick did the same shit with Maryse.
And of course, Velvet had to make a passive aggressive remark about it.
So other "news" sites picked up on this so called feud and why some broad on wrestlinginc straight up copy and pasted my first post in this thread? :lmao
And the Brooke would have just done "Hey, did you see the new A. Love photoshoot?" and then link it to a pic of Skeletor or the Cryptkeeper. If you don't want anyone to blast you, don't start anything.
I like Brooke, but she was a bitch there. I know nothing about Angelina Love, but I actually feel sorry for her in this instance. For someone to call something like hand tattoos(something heavily relevant to Love's life)"trashy", that would be an insult to her. Heck, Brooke may have even thought about Love when answering that twitter question. People have subtle digs at others all the time. Then bringing up the weight, and surgeries? IDK, questionable behavior.
Tessmacher didn't even call here trashy. You're doing exactly what Love did by jumping to conclusions and assuming someone is talking about you when they were talking about tattoos.
pro wrestling is also performance art. pretty sure Tessmacher doesn't go around shaking her ass and doing pussy rubs when she's not performing her character. i'm guessing Alison Brie is a trashy hoe in real life b/c her character shows cleavage on television.
In a general way, I agree with what Tessmacher said in the end about tanning making the skin appear leathery after prolonged usage (does Tess tan???), surgery (is Tess' chest natural, though???), and aging gracefully, etc. but Angelina was on point in what she said, and frankly, she burned #datazz up. Both women as characters are trashy; neither one is classy, and whether they're playing characters or not, that holds true. NOW, that is not to say that they are whores (I've established that repeatedly elsewhere), but some people cannot differentiate fact from fiction and assume it's all the same. In a way, I understand this, because if one was truly classy then why act trashy, even (or especially) in front of other people? And it's somewhat irritating given that they don't help dispel the case that misogynists make for their value. But whatever. Either way, this is a tad weak for Twitter warfare.
"Brooke Adams @BrookeTess
It’s not about tattoos.. I don’t mind them. Just don’t care 4 @ActualALove I’m a very positive person & she’s been nothing but negative 2me"
Interesting. I guess there was a deeper problem between the two that has been bubbling and finally boiled over. I wonder if the Knockouts locker room has already been tense for some time with the bad vibes between Brooke and Velvet?
I'll say what I'm gonna say, but I'm a big fan of Tess and Angelina. Brooke answered a question, and Angelina being Angelina HAD to answer. You know exactly what you were gonna get yourself into when you called her out and it's petty, it really is. Brooke barely worked with Angelina. I highly doubt she meant it as a jab at Love, even though Angelina has been throwing some subliminal shots at Tessmacher and her personal life. I think as much as people say it was wrong for Brooke to say it, it's pretty ridiculous for Angelina to comment back. She didn't say "Angelina is a tramp for having tattoos". And don't even get me going on Velvet posting a picture on twitter with her hand tattoo. Now that is beyond unprofessional and shows how childish the duo are. Your the champion, show some common sense Velvet! Hell, if this were WWE, Velvet would have already jobbed out for the title. It says even more that when Tess responded by retweeting fan comments and Angelina did absolutely nothing and allowed her friend who is employed by the company to make a shot. I still like Angelina, but maybe those things Lacey said when she first got hired weren't far from the truth.
Velvet just did a radio interview Friday morning near Concord, NC for a house show (great match with Gail that night BTW). The radio DJ did ask her if there where any KOs she just genuine doesn't like and can it get catty??
Her response paraphrasing was "It can get catty but it depends on how you handle the situation. There is a specific KO that I don't see eye to eye with, but I keep it on a professional level to where people would not know what is going on. I appreciate my job and my spot and I'm not going to let one person ruin that for me." When asked if she can say who it was, her response was "No, No I can't. I don't have that drama part in me. I'm not an over dramatic person."
The full interview is on the bottom. They also talk about Velvet slapping Peter Rosenberg in 2010.
Thoughts, If she was refering to Tessmacher then maybe her tattoo comment really was directed at Velvet from the start and Angelina is the more "dramatic" of the two and her response was to defend Velvet.
