No. The reason why John Cena's Dr. of Thuganomics gimmick worked out so well was because it was edgy and Paul Heyman was booking the character on Smackdown back in 2003 with Cena writing his own raps.
In today's WWE product full of shitty Hollywood writers and wrestlers having to have promos scripted for them, I can't see a rapper gimmick being that successful. They tried to do a rapper gimmick with Slam Master J (Jesse) but it failed miserably.
