Monday Night Raw
Hampton Coliseum, Hampton, Virginia | July 25, 2011

The last 8 days in the WWE have been pretty hectic to say the least. It all started last Sunday at Money in the Bank when CM Punk won the WWE Championship from John Cena and then left the company. Last Monday on Raw, Mr. McMahon attempted to move on and forget that ever happened by creating a new WWE Title and crowning a new champion. In a brutal 8-man ladder match, the real WWE Champion, CM Punk appeared on the titantron and reminded the men in the ring they were fighting for a prop. This set in the men’s heads and soon exited the ring. Mr. McMahon was pissed and soon John Cena came out and made things worse. Mr. McMahon blamed this whole situation on Cena and promptly fired John Cena!! He has stated until he has the WWE Championship back in his possession, Cena will not be rehired.

Despite many people within the WWE not agreeing with the chairman’s decision of creating a new title and erasing all the history and prestige the real title has, McMahon promises that tonight on Raw we will crown a new WWE Champion. As confirmed earlier this week on wwe.com, there will be a triple threat match to determine a new champion. Mr. Money in the Bank, Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio, and The Miz will look to usher in a new era as the first new WWE Champion. With McMahon so determined to move on rest assure we will get some closure tonight.

Last week, Zack Ryder made the most of a rare appearance on Raw by upsetting the United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler. The champion of the internet will once again get another shot to impress as this week on Raw there will be a 6-man tag team match. Zack Ryder will team with Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne to take on the team of United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, and Drew McIntyre.

Last week the tag team champions, Michael McGuillicutty and David Otunga successfully defended their titles defeating Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov. After the match, then fellow Nexus member, Mason Ryan felt disrespected by the two and took out his rage on the champions. What does this mean for the future of Nexus? The massive Mason Ryan also will be in action trying to further send a message to the tag team champions.

With all the controversy happening this surely affects everybody on the roster. How will the rest of the roster cope with what has transpired after losing 2 of the biggest stars on the roster and the most prestigious championship in the company? Also what lengths will Mr. McMahon go to make sure his company once again goes back to normal? Tune into Monday Night Raw this Monday @ 9/8ct only on USA to find out.
