Dumbest rationales in wrestling history

What's the dumbest excuse a wrestler came up with to justify his or her actions?
The most recent one has to be Taz, saying he joined Aces and 8s because: "how could I pass up the opportunity to live by the vision of a higher power?!"
Well if that's what you want isn't that what religion and cults are for? No you have to betray your best fried because someone who claims to be a "higher power" offered you the opportunity to follow him? What dumb ass logic is this? I know we should suspend out belief but this is just absurd.

What are your most absurd illogical excuses heard in pro wrestling?
