Yeah, starting Community in Season 4 might not be as stupid as say starting Breaking Bad in Season 5 based on how the show develops from Season to Season. But watching from the beginning allows you to get to understand the show's humour, familiarise yourself with the main characters and the recurring characters and some of the recurring jokes such as every Jeff and Leonard interaction as well as the Dean's obsession with Jeff.
