 @ a fellow Roses fan.
Yeah I really need to check out 'Spaced'. Baffles me why I haven't after hearing numerous instances of praise for it.
Interesting thoughts on LAC. Love the final sentence, perfect description of the sort of film that appeals to me currently .

Awesome, thanks for the link. I'll be Hawkeyeing that project closely now that I know about it.. and yeah, big fan of the Stone Roses back in the day, I just stopped paying attention to anything linked to them after a while. Heard rumbles of My Bloody Valentine resurfacing with a new album this year, it's as if the remnants of the late 80s/early 90s are coming back with a vengeance haha
Spaced is a good show to sink your teeth into when you have some time to kill. It's clever, and the concept and aesthetical approach to the show is is rather unique. Speaking of British tv, got into some of Charlie Brooker's mini series lately, those are definitely worth it if you're looking for a quirky and whip smart satire of all facets in popular culture. He's also the guy that made Dead Set, the first zombie show that predated the Walking Dead.
