The vocalist is relatively soothing, and has a pretty wide range, which is intriguingly utilized in a song of such comforting magnitude. As well as this, the songwriting is quite nice, albeit a tad unimaginative at times, so as to produce more good vocals (although Barenaked Ladies have never really been known for intricate lyrics). Though there is a peaceful sense of head-bobbing catchiness at the same time, and the length is well-utilized as well; every moment in the song really meant something.
Though below some of their other tracks, this is a heartwarming little tune that's going in the favourites. 8/10.
