Re: Up until the end of Starrcade 97 was Sting vs Hogan/NWO the best Storyline ever?
The best? I would have to say that its at least a possible candidate (not my personal pick, but I can understand why some might choose it). Unfortunately, for all of the excellent hype they had leading up to Starrcade, the match itself was just total garbage and really was anticlimactic. Great stuff and right at the end, fizzle.
And then just over 15 years later, for some idiotic reason, we got the same type of finish in another main event, Rock vs Punk. You'd think that the WWE bookers would have realized that it was a bad finish 15 years ago, which would mean its STILL bad now. Why they decided to go that route is beyond me.
Bossy's Law-in any online wrestling discussion, inevitably someone will mention that Daniel Bryan is the best or better then someone/something else, even if Daniel Bryan has nothing to do with the discussion.
