I don't get what's wrong with that. Maybe there's a reason why this guy is a FORMER WWE writer.
Using his logic, then a company will NEVER grow. How can you expect any company to ever grow, if they don't announce changes.
If your customers don't like one aspect of your company, and then the company makes improvements to that aspect, shouldn't they be advertising that change? That's exactly what TNA is doing here.
