I don't give a shit what anyone says, Kane is top 5 ever. He just simply raps better than 99.9999% of everybody. Like almost everyone else from that era he doesn't have the deep discography that rappers who dropped just a few years later have......but that's the way it was back then. Different game. Cats were 25 and "old" because things changed so fast and fans would be on to some new shit. LL was like the only one who had a long career at a star level.
Can just imagine when guys like KRS, Kane, Slick Rick, Kool G & Rakim came out. Bet all the guys rapping on the corner was like "We gotta step our shit up now"
