Re: The Main Event and Juvy's Rise of Glory

Raw Summary

Current Date – Week 2 after Vengeance

World Heavyweight Champion – Edge

Edge won the World Heavyweight Title in arguably the most controversial way in WWE history. The former holder of the Money in the Bank contract competed against Batista for the title in the main event of Vengeance after successfully winning a one night tournament on the special three hour Raw. Prior to the match, Edge had made a deal with Batista’s rivals, Evolution and Eric Bischoff a deal that would later win him the World Title. Batista managed to survive despite several injuries, defeating Edge in the initial match but as soon as the match was over, Evolution were quick to come down and beat down the Animal. Eric Bischoff then came down wearing a referee’s shirt and took the referee’s role as Edge pinned Batista after using his Money in the Bank contract to announce a match immediately after the beat down, allowing him to pick up the win and his first World Heavyweight Title. At Summerslam, Edge will defend in a Triple Threat match against his brother Christian and former World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Benoit.

World Tag Team Champions – The Dudley Boyz

The Dudley Boyz won their latest World Tag Team title by defeating La Resistance two weeks after Backlash in familiar fashion by winning a Table Match. The Dudleyz recently defeated the two up and coming members of Evolution, “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters and Mark Jindrak. With the lack of tag team’s on Raw, it remains to be seen who will step up and challenge this team next.

Intercontinental Champion – Shelton Benjamin

Shelton won his first Intercontinental Title last year at Taboo Tuesday and has held the title since then surviving several challenges. He first managed to defeat “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters at Backlash, and even more surprisingly defeated the 500-pound Big Show at Vengeance with a little help from Kane. However with several young guns gaining experience on Raw, it seems as if Shelton will be in for a harder challenge over the next several months. Who will be able to stop Shelton?

There we go, I've probably forgotten someone on the roster as I never kept a copy, but I think that's it. Juvy will post his SD summary later on.

Also some low key stars are yet to debut, that's why they've been announced, so expect to see those superstars appear on Raw in the coming weeks.
