You dont have to feel sympathetic for that child, but at the end of the day its not that child's fault that his been brought into a world with no food/water/home and a world riddled with diseases, no person should have to suffer through that.
Support a child from another country or a child in this country, I couldn't particularly give a toss, at the end of the day the money you would be prepared to donate would be better going off to either of those children
