I know HBK was bad in the 90's behind the scenes, but the WM 14 rumor I always was suspicious of.
Why? HBK had a really bad back and it was even obvious to those in the know in the match. He had to retire after that.
How in the world could he avoid jobbing? He was on his way out. I think that rumor is false. Yes, I know Taker said what he said about it.
What I took from that comment was for HBK to actually put over Austin with a proper match. It only furthered my belief in that theory when HBK didn't do what was right for business with his match with Hogan by not putting Hogan over in the match even though he lost the match. There is a difference to me.
