2010 did 465k

2011 did 446k

2012 did 443k

How many are you expecting this year? I'm sure the decline will end with the Rock appearing, but will he bring in a load more?

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread

There has been a dip since 2006 with the exception of 2008.

2011 and 2012 RR's were horrible
yep but 2013 will end all that.
EDIT: 2002 is the highest of all time

That Rumble did have some intriguing build with Rock challenging for the Undisputed Title, HHH's return, and Flair/McMahon feud. Plus you had Austin, Taker, Angle, etc. in the Rumble match. Not surprised at the results.

looking back in paper it was probably the greatest rumble of all time barring 1999.

I will note that before Wrestlemania XX, WWE only counted domestic PPV buys.

All the recent Wrestlemanias count international PPV buys, which typically account for 15-25% of the total buyrate.

Wrestlemania X7 still holds the record for most domestic PPV buys. Wrestlemania 28, the so-called record holder, drew only 713,000 domestic and 503,000 international.

Wrestlemania X7 is the most successful PPV in wrestling history.
