To add to what SpookshowTony suggested, you must watch 'The Imposter
'. It only came out last year and it is superb. Plus it's best to go into it blind, so try not to read up on it much.
Also: 'The Bridge
' - About suicides on the Golden Gate Bridge. Yes it's a very dark subject matter but really moving film.
'The Devil & Daniel Johnston
' - A small musician with serious inner demons. It's really emotional.
I also watched 'Craigslist Joe
' the other night on Netflix. Basically this guy tries to live off Craigslist for a month. It's pretty fun.
