This doesn't have anything to do with
caring. This has to do with self-righteousness and self-importance.
I believe a whole lot of things too, but I don't run around writing strident letters to people saying they'll go to hell if they don't quit parking in the spot in front of my house or bringing gag gifts to a Christmas party where everyone else has put in some effort to bring a nice, thoughtful present.
