Its pretty great. Doesn't pull any punches when it comes to racy dialogue and nudity, but the brunt of the show is about Hank Moody, successful writer plagued by a desire to rekindle a relationship with Karen and his daughter Becca. He's hilarious and has all sorts of sordid one liners, but they really strike a great balance at the peak of the show between a comedy and the serious issue of him basically living and existing to be reunited with his one true love. Feels like an extended Bob Dylan montage in some respects. Great soundtrack too.
No-one's gonna call you out. You're too nice and respected
