Bill DeMott is reportedly no longer the head trainer of NXT. He's apparently been replaced by Billy Gun. It has not yet been concerned, but there is a lot of speculation regarding DeMott and if he will remain with the company.
Bill DeMott or no, WWE needs to sort out why the rookies that came straight from WWE Developmental don't fare as well as the OVW trained WWE rookies. The guys who worked the indies for more than about 3 years are their own beast, and they fare better than most anyone in the wrestling department. But you can surely tell a big difference between the guys who got the bulk of their training under Cornette & co. and the fellows who got their main in-ring start after that time.
Exactly. Look at sports, how many of the coaches/managers on every sports team actually had great careers? Not saying if you have a great career you won't have good coaching career, but most of the coaches you see in sports, are guys who might not have had the best career. Wayne Gretzky(considered greatest hockey player ever) tried being a coach and he failed at it. Michael Jordan(considered greatest basketball player ever) is an owner of a NBA team and that team isn't doing good at all(one of worst in the league).
Just because he hasn't been fired doesn't mean he's not been removed as the head trainer of NXT.
