WWE is doing a great job with Main Event, and this week's episode is an excellent example.
- A great video package of superstar profiles for Sheamus & Ziggler.
- Promos from both parties involved in the match
- Excellent free TV match between the two
- Recap of Rock/Punk kept relatively short (about 4 minutes)
- Nice 10 minute match between Barrett & Ryder, both guys look credible
That's a really good formula. I enjoy the fact that it allows a guy like Ryder to show that he CAN be a viable mid-carder. And I have to say, I think Cole & Miz work well together as a commentary team and do a solid job of calling the action. They may get off topic every now & then, but it's refreshing to hear commentary that focuses on what's going on in the ring and current storylines instead of lame, tired, annoying jokes (looking at you, Jerry Lawler).
