Re: Explain how Goldberg is still awesome and Ryback sucks?
If we're just talking physicality in the ring, as others have said Goldberg had unparallelled quickness and coordination for a power wrestler (until Brock). His speed and coordination is what made his power moves look so awesome. He's a genuine 'holy shit' wrestler.
He had an amazing moveset too - the gorilla press into powerslam, spinning neckbreaker not to mention some incredible kicks, flying kicks, and some great spinning ankle holds too. His speed made the spear look like he had killed someone and the jackhammer looked so damn pretty IMO.
Ryback shows impressive power yes, but he's much more plodding and a bit slow and uncoordinated. I think to a lot of people it's all too apparent that WWE are trying to make him like a Goldberg character, but the performer Ryback doesn't really have the same gifts as the real deal.
