Re: Best year for the Attitude Era?

For me its a toss up between 98 and 00. The WWF was so focused during those years. In 99 they kind of lost their way with outrageous acts and I think the unfortunate loss of Owen Hart affected them more than they like to admit, and naturally, that is OK. That said, the year 2000 in the WWF was pure magic man. I wish Austin was there, but to be honest, his absence is what caused the writers and Vince to fire on all cylinders in another manner.

I don't remember his name, but the head writer from back then used to storyboard out the storylines so that everything was cohesive. Dude even received legit heat from the boys because of it. "He's trying to make us like hollywood" were some of the quotes you'd see on the dirt sheets... yet those storyboard are what kept everything together, for everyone and the WWF saw its best year for that time period because of it.

You know how pissed I am I finally had to remove my "Think WWE sucks, Where were you in 1995?" sig picture. God damn ratings decline.
"Captain Workrate!"
