Re: Got Laid off from my Weekend Job...
Well here is a bizarre update.
My final timecard got approved, so I am going to get paid for my last weekend. So OK, it is over and done with, I got what I wanted, no problem.
But 30 minutes ago, I get a phone call from my ex-manager. She chews me out for NOT COMING INTO TO WORK TODAY. I have to sit there and explain to her that I was terminated 5 days ago. "Well who did that?" "I assumed it was you". She then puts me on hold and checks to confirm the information and comes back and says "Oh OK, you were" and that incredibly awkward conversation comes to an end, thank heavens.
That was just weird.
