In 2050,these are the people who will be remembered:

Hulk Hogan
Ric Flair
Bret Hart
Shawn Michaels
Undertaker
Stone Cold
Rock
HHH
John Cena

People like Savage, Warrior,Sting,Foley,Batista,Orton etc would come up in list as forgotten legends

Foley, Sting, and Savage (an argument could even very easily be made for Warrior) are all more memorable, and recognized (meaning walk up and down the street and ask random people if they know who these wrestlers are and they will say yes) many times over more than bret hart or HBK. even trips and Cena realistically are nowhere near as notable.

Although I disagree with your point entirely. If what you're saying was true today there would be a lot of names that are mentioned quite frequently on wrestling forums like this one that nobody would know.

As for the High Chief, he was a patriarch of one of the most successful and memorable wrestling families in the history of the business. As a wrestler he was great for his time, he knew how to tell a story and could keep the fans entertained. In 50 years.. it all depends. If his family tree keeps filling up roster spots in wrestling companies then we may still be talking about him as a patriarch of a great wrestling family in 2062
