There is one way this angle can be a small threat to WWE.

The leaders of A&8´s before a 6 man tag match at a PPV. So you have Angle/Sting/Bully Ray in the ring and out come Edge, Christian with Tomko and DeVon as the leaders. So then Edge says wait a minute if I´m Nash, and you are Hall, we still need a Hogan and out comes Hulk Hogan with Eric Bischoff as the 3rd member to an NWO-esque theme. So once Hulk enters the ring and high fives Edge and Christian they start making fun of Hogan and Bischoff calling them washed-up has been corporate losers and then "Impact is Jericho" hits.
Eight man tag Angle/Sting/Hogan/Bully (with Bischoff as manager) vs. Jericho/Christian/Tomko/Devon (with Edge as manager).
