Damn i was just about to say yes to Sherlock, it's so brilliantly written.

I think there should be a third category something along the lines of animation: It could include the like of The Simpsons which i know can be in Comedy but also Cartoons like Scooby Doo and Anime like DragonBall Z. What do people think?

Just going to add a couple of nominations:

Monk - Just fantastic character development if anyone has seen it they'll know what i'm talking about.
Dr Who - It has its highs and lows but it's already at legendary status so thought i'd nominate it here.
