The BTB Advertisement Thread

The last thread was beginning to clutter and had lost some semblance to actual advertisements. This is a revised version of the BTB Advertisement thread.

Basically, this is the BTB Advertisement thread. Pretty self-explanatory, right? Wrong, here are the rules. Be warned - lack of adherence to the rules will result in a warning. If you keep it up, you will be given an infraction.

The BTB Advertisement thread allows you to post previews of your upcoming shows and PPVs and generate hype for an upcoming thread. In order to give prospective readers an incentive to view your thread, you can even post small samples of the advertised work in question, though these will be relegated to one paragraph.

If you wish, you can provide links to your threads following your advertisements.

Since the last thread was abused to some extent, I'm laying down some additional rules in order to keep this thread tidy.

1) ONE advert per every three days. We will check this thread every day to see if anyone is abusing the system and spamming the thread.
2) NO news, notes, or anything of that sort pertaining to your thread are allowed. We were lenient before in the last thread, but such posts belong in your thread. The BTB Advertisement thread is not your personal network - it is shared, and thus, only actual advertisements for shows are allowed.

Last, but not least; do NOT beg for reviews when you advertise. In jest, you can market your thread and mention reviews, but there is to be no fishing for 'em. It just reeks of desperation.

Thank you.

The NWF and The Best Damn Tag Team Division Today
On the first edition of Friday Night Warzone a Tag team battle royal will take place for a number 1 contender. The challengers in the match have already been placed. There are still openings for anyone to enter. The Alliance of Darkness have taken it upon themselves to enter as three separate teams. The losers of the title match between Picture Perfect and The Standard will also be entered.

The Challengers:

Sadistic Fame
The Tailor Made Express
The Tokyo Connection
Elijah Burke and Jeff Jarrett
The Alliance of Darkness (Mesias and Thorn)
Jason Gory and Krimson (A.O.D)
Lizmark Jr. and The Great Muta (A.O.D)
F.B.I (Tony Mamaluke and Little Guido)
Bob Backlund and Colt Cabana
Team Bank$
The Basham Brothers
Tyson Kidd and Isis The Amazon
The PR Powers

A Deeper Look Into the Division's Top Teams

Picture Perfect:
Billy Kidman and Jack Evans have captured the tag team titles after defeating Sadistic Fame in the first ever tag title bout at Punishment. The Veteran and young star duo have proven to be a top tier team.

Sadistic Fame:
"The" Brian Kendrick and the Mentally Insane Sydistiko have turned out to prove trouble to Picture Perfect and the PR Powers. They failed to capture the gold but gave a beating to the Powers.

The PR Powers:
San Juan Kid and PR Flyer straight from Puerto Rico have torn through the division but have failed to rank at the top facing the challenges of the A.O.D and Sadistic Fame.

The Standard:
No.1 Contenders Chris Masters and Scott Steiner brought power and pain after going through The Bashams, The World's Greatest Tag Team, and The Tailor Made Express to get to the title shot at Revenge. Steiner's actions however are still up in the air with Chris.

Elijah Burke and Jeff Jarrett:
Two top tier stars were booked in a tag match and resolved their issues after only one bout. The former world title contenders have caused a ruckus in the division after beating the tag champions in a non-title bout. The group have formed their own style using guitars and the Double Stroke finisher.

The Alliance of Darkness:
Kevin Thorn and Judas Mesias were presented as formidable opponents for anyone around and have been through the division but the two have not dominated as expected. Several other A.O.D members as hopped in and out of matches.

Team Bank$:
Pure muscle and agility Monty Brown and Michael Tarver as Antonio Bank$' bodyguards are a powerhouse team. They destroyed The Basham brothers at Punishment in spectacular fashion. An infamous scene also took place as Carlito invaded Antonio's home and the two beat him down and left him lying.

The Other teams around the division:
Tyson Kidd and Isis The Amazon:
Woman and cruiserweight duo, Tyson's bodyguard and him have yet to go into major tag competition.

F.B.I:
One night only Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke make a return match in the tag team battle royal.

The Tokyo Connection:
Okada and Kiyoshi straight from Japan debut on the first Friday Night Warzone.

Bob Backlund and Colt Cabana:
Mentor and protege team debut at Revenge, Colt's on a losing streak and Backlund is determined to get him back on track by tag team bouts.

The Basham Brothers:
Pure veterans have been up and down in their matches gaining wins and losing some bout. Certainly not to be taken lightly.

The Tailor Made Express:
Alex Riley and Paul Burchill have been the least impressive to date. Burchill has a distrust with A-Ry after he costed them a few wins.

Defunct:
The World's Greatest Tag Team:
Charlie Haas was betrayed by Shelton Benjamin at Punishment. Haas was Okay with breaking up but angered in the manner it was done. The two square off at Revenge...and anything can truly happen here.

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview May 31st, 2004

This week the superstars of Raw head to Montreal, Canada on the road to Vengeance.

Monday Night Raw is all everybody in the wrestling industry is talking about at the moment, after some huge events taking place last week. At the end of Raw last week, ‘The Big Red Machine’ Kane attacked Scott Steiner, tied him up backstage, and tried to light him on fire once the show went off the air. It has been reported that Steiner was able to escape, and no reported damage has been done. But this rivalry just continues to intensify week after week. First they sent each other flying off the Raw stage, then there’s been attack after attack, and Kane’s latest actions have taken this to a whole new level again. Steiner is a dangerous man as it is and he’ll surely have blood on his mind after what went down last week. With these two guys being in the same building it’s not a matter of if things will explode, but when.

Kane and Steiner’s issues all actually began due to the constant disagreements between Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff and Sheriff Stone Cold Steve Austin. The WWE board of directors have had enough of the power plays and bickering on Raw, therefore Vince McMahon announced a winner takes all match at Vengeance. Bischoff chose Goldberg to be his representative and last week Austin revealed Shawn Michaels to be his representative. Whoever’s rep wins has full control of Raw, whilst the loser will be out of a job. Caught up in the enjoyment of ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ nailing Goldberg with Sweet Chin Music last week, Austin delivered a celebration Stone Cold Stunner to Bischoff. Due to already being on probation, McMahon had no choice but to suspend Austin from Raw tonight, which means Bischoff is in charge. Who knows just what will take place with Bischoff having full reigns of the show?

With Shawn Michaels having returned from exile, this week on Raw we will be hearing from The Rock. The Rock has stated that he believes Michaels should just retire, and with HBK yet to win a big time match this year, his record doesn’t exactly do himself any favours. The Rock will be delivering a public service announcement via satellite from Hollywood tonight... and The Rock promises that his announcement will have HUGE repercussions regarding Vengeance. Just what this announcement will be is anybody’s guess; you’ll have to tune in to find out.

The World Heavyweight Championship scene continues to heat up on Raw as well, with the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit continuing to defy the odds. Everybody knows that ‘The Rabid Wolverine’ has his back against the wall heading into Vengeance. He’ll be defending his title against not one member of Evolution, but two, in Triple H and Randy Orton. Last week Hunter and Orton thought they were going to get Benoit to themselves in a Handicap match, but Benoit was able to find a partner. A young man by the name of Nick Dinsmore debuted, and with an assist from Benoit, he ended up actually pinning Triple H! All four of these men will be in the arena this week on Raw, and it’s a certainty that Evolution will be looking for some sort of revenge.

Bischoff has already jumped the gun, booking three matches for this week’s Raw. We will see Booker T go one on one with Lance Storm, Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak will take on Rosey and The Hurricane... and the main event will feature Batista and Matt Hardy going up against Chris Jericho, and the WWE Intercontinental Champion Maven!

We’ve got all of this, and MUCH, MUCH more, as the Raw superstars thirst for Vengeance heats up The Great White North...
SHOW HAS BEEN POSTED!

The first Monday Night Raw of 2013 sees the return of The Rock for the first time since the Brahma Bull was attacked by CM Punk at Raw 1000. Rock has been granted a shot at Punk's WWE Championship at the 2013 Royal Rumble, Rock returns tonight with both the title and revenge on his mind. Punk himself has had his lengthy WWE Championship reign rewarded by the Board Of Directors with a brand new championship belt, and Punk is telling everyone that will listen that he is not scared of defending his title against The Rock... or anyone else.

Not one to be out-done, John Cena has also selected Raw to make his return after missing the festive period with an injury sustained at the hands of Brock Lesnar. Lesnar returned at TLC several weeks ago and threw Cena through a table, before delivering a vicious powerbomb the following night. Cena took the force of the powerbomb on his neck and has been told by doctors he is returning too soon, and a second injury to neck could spell the end of Cena's career. Lesnar and Cena are both confirmed for Raw, will Cena heed the warning of the medical staff or go ahead with his pledge to call Lesnar out?

The main event of the evening is a 20-man battle royale, with the winner able to select his own entry number for the Royal Rumble match in 20 nights. With the likes of Kane, Ryback, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Christian and Dolph Ziggler among the 20 combatants, it's sure to be a hotly contested preview of the Rumble Match itself. Will the winner name himself in the #30 spot, go with superstition and enter at #27, or perhaps prove a point by entering at #1?

The Big Show has held the World Heavyweight Championship since defeating Sheamus at Hell In A Cell, and Show has convincingly defeated all challengers since becoming champion. In an attempt to find a suitable challenger to Show's title, SmackDown General Manager Booker T announced a tournament to crown a new #1 contender. The final was contested inside a steel cage between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton, but when both men escaped the cage at the same time Booker announced that Show would defend his title in a Triple Threat match at the Royal Rumble. There will be reaction from all three men tonight.

Confirmed Matches
20-man Battle Royale – The winner selects his own Royal Rumble entry number
Tag Team Champions Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs Prime Time Players in non-title action
Brodus Clay vs Intercontinental Champion The Miz in a non-title match

Friday Night Smackdown Preview:

Last week, Smackdown went off the air amidst chaos and confusion, as Batista - earlier in the night screwed - apparently - by The Undertaker - came for revenge, believing the WWE Championship match to be over, and delivered a punishing Spinebuster to The Phenom ... unaware that on the stage, Arn Anderson was in the process of restarting the title match after Orton intentionally got himself disqualified. In the end, Orton retained the gold, but not without controversy - and this Friday in Charlotte, Orton has vowed to call out the GM, furious with what he believes to be a continued vendetta against him. Just how far will Orton go tonight, should Anderson agree to meet him face to face in the ring??

And, how will The Undertaker and Batista react to the carnage of last Friday. Will The Undertaker now look to strike back in his ongoing issue with The Animal after being screwed out of the WWE Championship?? Will Batista even be sorry, despite his mistake?? Batista also has a match with MVP to deal with the Friday, as Arn Anderson gives Porter his request for higher - and bigger - competition. With MVP out to impress and prove a point, Batista could well have his hands full on Friday if he has his focus elsewhere.

After somehow escaping Detroit with the WWE Tag Team Titles in tact, AMW celebrate THREE HUNDRED days as champions this Friday - but given the way Harris and Storm kept the titles last week, will Americas Most Wanted even have anything to truly celebrate?? The Caribbean Connection will surely be furious to see AMW waltz into North Carolina with the title belts that they should be now holding - except for the untimely return of the Mad Murdoch Twins; Festus and Trevor, costing Carlito and Kofi the titles last week on Smackdown. Last month - in an act of self defence - Carlito knocked out Festus with the ring bell, but it appears that the Murdochs didnt take it lightly. Did they go too far in costing the pair title gold last week?? And, what kind of impact will they have this week on Smackdown, assuming they look for another piece of Carlito and Kofi, who face Elix Skipper and Kid Kash in tag team action.

Despite the huge show last week on Smackdown, Arn Anderson is pulling out all the stops again this week, with TWO huge main event matches. The first, a 2 out of 3 falls match between Jamie Noble and The Brian Kendrick for Kendricks title, which will bring an end to the rivalry that has bubbled throughout the summer. Twice already, Kendrick has managed to escape Nobles challenge and keep the gold, but this week, he'll need to score two falls to see off the dogged challenger. Many believe that Kendrick has been lucky to beat Noble twice, with questionable tactics used to keep his title, and they believe he'll be unable to do it twice in one match. Will Jamie Noble bring the curtain down on the longest title reign in the history of the Cruiserweight division??

And, in the second of the two main events, Shawn Michaels travels from Raw - with his first pick for Team Raw at the Survivor Series - to take on Brock Lesnars first Team Smackdown pick. With illustrious names such as Rey Mysterio, Matt Hardy, Kurt Angle and Shelton Benjamin to choose from on Raw, and the likes of Paul London, Garrison Cade, RVD and the undefeated Nick Nemeth over on Smackdown, it promises to be a huge interpromotional match when Raw and Smackdown collide this Friday. Tensions between Michaels and Lesnar almost boiled over on Raw, only for the two being kept apart. With both team captains expected to be in the corner of their picks on Smackdown, could HBK and the Iron Man give the fans a taste of what is to come in L.A next month??

Friday Night SmackDown - 3rd July 2009: Calgary, Alberta Canada

Tonight, the SmackDown Superstars roll into Canada where they will compete to entertain the very raucous Calgary crowd.

Last week, the show went off the air with the challenger to the World Heavyweight Championship, John Cena holding his hand up in the air after he AA’d one of Matt Hardy’s security guards through the table which was used as for their contract signing. The match is now official, John Cena has been trying to get his hands on the World Heavyweight Champion, but he’s managed to elude his challenger so far, will Cena get his hands on Matt tonight? Matt cannot simply worry about John Cena, he’s got to worry about his opponent tonight – Vladimir Kozlov. The big Russian was in action last week when we went one on one with R-Truth to see who would face Kofi Kingston for the United States Championship, he came up short and that’s bad news for Hardy as The Moscow Mauler will not be in a good mood.

The Rated R Superstar has been ordered by his doctors to stay away from SmackDown tonight, they haven’t cleared him to compete after he was Chokeslammed off the stage by The Big Red Monster, Kane. These two have been at each other’s throats since Kane set Edge’s best friend Christian on fire at Judgment Day. Captain Charisma hasn’t been seen since his emotional interview with Jim Ross where he vowed to return and target the man who set him on fire. The Big Red Monster will be in action tonight, against a man we haven’t seen in a while, and in actuality was in India filming a movie, The Great Khali.

The United States Champion, Kofi Kingston will have his eye on a match that R-Truth will be involved in, as he will take on The Fighting Irishman, Finlay. R-Truth believes that he has been unfairly treated by the SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long who actually has been the victim of many conspiracy theories by many Superstars such as Chris Jericho and The Brian Kendrick. Regardless, Kingston will get his chance to scout his opponent tonight before they face off against each other at The Bash for the coveted United States Championship.

Also tonight, one of the biggest Superstars will be in action as Jeff Hardy teams up with another high flyer in Evan Bourne! The duo will take on Chris Jericho and the hulking figure of Mike Knox! Jericho has unfinished business with Jeff Hardy, the two have been feuding for the past month and it all resulted from Jericho believing Hardy cost him the World Heavyweight Championship. The two will go at it in two weeks time for the right to face the World Heavyweight Champion, whoever that may be, at a four hour long SummerSlam! This is Evan Bourne’s first match since his return from injury, an injury which was caused by Mike Knox at Judgment Day. Evan returned at the time when Kelly Kelly and the rest of the Divas needed him the most. Knox has been dragging Kelly around with him in Bourne’s absence but now that he’s back, he won’t be able to do that now because Kelly has Evan around to predict her. But the question remains, will Knox want her back.

Expect appearances by all these Superstars and more such as the WWE Tag Team Champions, Gregory Helms and Shelton Benjamin.

Confirmed For SmackDown

Matt Hardy vs. Vladimir Kozlov
Evan Bourne & Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho & Mike Knox
Finlay vs. R-Truth
Kane vs. The Great Khali

Friday Night 'Live' Smackdown
Friday 13th February 2009 - Preview!
Live from the Rimrock Auto Arena
Billings, Montana

The Road to Wrestlemania is always a bumpy one, and No Way Out lived up to the tradition, but we're still feeling the fallout to Sunday's controversial pay-per-view. There was nothing more controversial than the World Heavyweight Championship yet again when John Cena locked horns with CM Punk. This time they met inside a steel cage to ensure there would be an undisputed World Champion. That unfortunately didn't happen after another incident between Cena & The Undertaker came back to haunt Cena, just as it looked as if he was going to emerge from the cage as the new World Champion. The Dead-Man got his retribution for what appeared to be another innocent mistake earlier in the evening, leading to a confrontation on Raw Monday night that saw Cena F-U The Undertaker in what he called 'instinctive' and in 'self-defence'. There's also some confusion as to whether he was challenged to a match at Wrestlemania by the man who is 16-0 at the showpiece event with the phenom looking up above the ring to the Wrestlemania sign looming above the ring, something he did too at No Way Out. If he was gunning for Cena before Monday night, surely he'll be hell bent on making Cena rest in peace now. The speculation remains and Cena will be in Billings, Montana live this Friday night, and he too will be looking for answers. Will we get any clarification on this, and what will be Mr. McMahon's reaction to CM Punk once again escaping with the world title? What response will we get from the man himself? Punk is never short of words and that surely won't be any different this time around!

We expected a brutal encounter between Christian & Edge in their TLC match at No Way Out and they didn't disappoint. After losing to his younger brother at Summerslam last year, The Rated-R Superstar evened the score after a con-chair-to Christian who put up an incredible effort in a match that both men came close to winning. It was Edge ultimately who prevailed and he'll be in Billings this week too while we understand that Captain Charisma is recovering from a concussion suffered in that match and won't be on hand. Now that Edge has got the win over his brother to make up for the defeat at Summerslam, you can safely say he'll be in high spirits this Friday night when he steps foot inside the Rimrock Auto Arena.

We'll also find out who will become the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team titles when the two teams left in the tournament collide. Power & Perfection, the team of Bobby Lashley & Charlie Haas knocked off The Empire in a very impressive victory last week before the men who refer to themselves as Mexican Royalty, Chavo Guerrero & Alberto Del Rio went on to defeat Paul Burchill & TJ Wilson thanks to a distraction from The Empire. These two teams will go at it with the winners guaranteed an opportunity to fight for the titles that belong to Paul London & Brian Kendrick. Make sure you watch Smackdown this week to find out which team that is.

The problems as we just said there between The Empire & The UK Pack, TJ Wilson & Natalya Neidhart show no signs of dying down, and last Sunday we saw Harry Smith's long awaited return to the ring when he met Wade Barrett, the main man responsible for breaking his ankle last year. Smith was gunning for revenge and got it when he played Barrett at his own game, using brass knuckles after the referee saw Barrett trying to use some of his own, just as he did at Night of Champions when he & Drew McIntyre won the titles from Burchill & Wilson, weeks after breaking Smith's ankle which led to Wilson defending the title on his friend's behalf. Barrett is bound to be seething and he might be happy to learn that Smith will be in action again this week when he goes up against someone who he might prefer not to in Jack Swagger. The All-American American will have no problem in going after his ankle with his ankle lock submission hold deadly enough as it is in normal consequences. Can Harry overcome this challenge too from Swagger like he did Sunday against Barrett?

Another man victorious at No Way out was Matt Sydal when he defeated Ted DiBiase, the man who claimed he not Sydal should've been named the Breakthrough Star of 2008. Sydal settled the score after DiBiase's part in him losing the United States Championship to Dolph Ziggler at the Royal Rumble. The reigning King of the Ring still has a rematch for the title many feel he should still have, and this week the man who holds that title will meet Bryan Danielson in a non-title match. Danielson & Ziggler have both been on fire lately and it's bound to be a terrific contest you won't want to miss.

Sydal may be able to take it easy after Sunday's win as he has best man duties to perform the night after Smackdown when Elijah Burke ties the knot with Layla on Valentine's Day. All DiBiase has to look forward to is time off after he was forced to leave Raw on Monday night. He lost a challenge that would've seen him earn a Money in the Bank qualifying match had he won his match, but after losing he lost his place on the Raw roster. You can imagine Sydal will have enjoyed seeing that too!

One very unhappy Smackdown superstar after two bad nights in Vegas is the Diva's Champion, Beth Phoenix. She & O.D.B. were left helpless when Raw's Women's Champion, Queen Kong interrupted their match and left them both flat on their backs, and The Glamazon may be regretting her decision to go to Raw to confront Kong. The Women's Champion answered Beth's call to go down to the ring, and when they
went at each other it was Kong who again was standing tall, only this time she left with Beth's diva's title. Will Beth be regretting that decision now? We'll probably find out this Friday night.

It's bound to be another explosive edition of Smackdown live this week, and it'll be one you won't want to miss!

>Confirmed for this week on Smackdown!<

Bryan Danielson vs. Dolph Ziggler
