Re: Oh, God. I might have to cook Thanksgiving.
I have settled on a menu of Julia Child's classic roast chicken. Anyone who wants turkey is out of luck. I'm doing green beans almondine - because I am not going to go buy fresh green beans and then dump cream of sodium and fake onions on them - a sweet potato, a mashed potato, and one other vegetable. And a wilted spinach salad. I'm letting dad do the gravy, though. Mine always lumps. Also, assorted baked goods I did not bake, because you can throw my baked goods at the coastline to ward off the Vikings.
Anyone who wants anything else can make it himself or herself.
Thanks for the assist! I will take pictures the day of!
