There's always someone who can put a smile on a kids face (and so there should be). The WWE just has to give someone else a quarter of the push they've given Cena over his horrifically stale career and they can rise.
Plus the WWE needs to appeal to all demographics. They haven't for a long time. It's not as if Austin/Rock/Taker weren't doing children's charities whilst still being part of an incredibly entertaining product.
Funny enough, before Cena it was actually Rock that was doing the most for these charities and stuff. I remember Make A Wish honored him for granting the most wishes at one point. Cena has since surpassed that number but Rock was doing his thing in that area. Cena is more in the media and public when it comes to this stuff as well.
