I would say yes he will be WWE champion, but not in the immediate future. He is nowhere near the level of Cena/Rock/Punk or even Ryback right now, and I would bet Ryback will get a reign before D-Bry. Maybe in a couple of years he will get a reign. There is no way to deny he is a tremendous talent in the ring, and he will get his turn a lot like Eddie and Benoit eventually did.
On the negative side, I find his comedy routine completely ridiculous at the moment. His Yes/No crap is annoying as f**k. I don't find it entertaining at all.
He is too good to be a comedy character, leave that s**t to Santino
I am however happy that he has helped to greatly improve the tag division with Kane. Just having a guy like Daniel Bryan as a tag champion elevates the prestige of the titles a hundred fold in my eyes.
To be brutally honest, at this moment in time I am only interested in him in the confines of the ring i.e. wrestling. He is a great wrestler, but unless he is wrestling in a match, I am not interested in him.
