This part makes no sense why would he tell his family to leave the ring so they wouldn't see him break down in tears, yet he was about to infront of 16.000 people, and a few more millions watching? And his family could always see the replay, no? And it completely goes against his character.
Anyway the 'ending that starts' this storyline is actually interesting and well thought, but its build could be a lot better. Have him lose matches for like 2 months in a row and tell the crowd that he doesn't have 'it' already and he's retiring for such. Then the RKO to JR would actually be cool.
