Some people need to go learn their history. Steve Austin in 1998 winning the Royal Rumble did NOT main event. It was Michaels Vs Taker.

Now Steve at that time was becoming the man in wrestling and it didn't main event.

The Rock is wrestling for the title for the first time in 10 years. It's huge and he's wrestling CM Punk.

Rock/Punk title match ends the show and rightly so. Plus the RR match is a joke these days.

They can hardly fill it up with their own 'stars' now. They had to go get legends to fill up spots the last few years.

But I have no idea why Rock/Punk ending the show is even up for debate.
