Heath Ledger was gave an absolutely captivating performance that could make you laugh as well as creep you out. He was chilling in the role of The Joker which he and Nolan brought a new interpretation and life to the character like never before. Ledger's Joker made The Dark Knight an unforgettable movie. He earned the Oscar in my opinion whether they decided to give it to him because of his death or not.
