I actually like the idea of Cena being the ref and being so consumed by the fact that he lost to Rock at Mania 28 that he screws Punk so Rock can win and then vows to take the title from Rock himself at Mania 29 by either winning the Rumble later in the night or winning a no.1 contenders EC match or something. That would lay the perfect foundation to tease a Cena heel turn, where he starts rejecting his own moral code etc, all the way until Mania where it finally happens and he cheats or something along those lines to beat Rock and win the title. I actually wouldn't mind that tbh. I don't know where it leaves Punk though.
