WWE doesn't have a mid card. It's a complete waste of time.
I really don't think they made a mistake here.
1. They took Ryback off the Goldberg streak path which is the right thing to do. You can't recreate that.
2. They gave him the opportunity to get over with fans by putting him in a high profile feud.
