Re: Who had more power, Hogan or Cena?
The thing with wrestling is it doesn't matter how much popularity a performer has or how much money he brings in, if he needs to be replaced he can be at the drop of a hat. Look at Ryback being inserted into the main event. Boom hat some. If cena retired tomorrow, Vince would just make some one else. I think Cena doesn't have power over Vince maybe just over other wrestlers. I think the position he is in is because he is so loyal to Vince it is Vince with the power. Hogan though had mainstream appeal and wasn't so subservient to Vince, and there was always another promotion that was equal to WWF that he could jump to if Vince didn't cater to him. In the end Hogan left and WWF although didn't have the best years it went on. Cena deides to do a Rock or gets injured whatever Vince will make another guy
"Yet another strong episode of Lucha Underground. Where else do you get magic medallions, Skell-o-mania demons, Resurrection, teleportation, and caged monsters all in the same one hour wrestling show? Plus, the writers weave together such a good universe that all of that over the top stuff fits."
