I'd rather hear Nas appear on a solely produced Statik Selektah album or just on a track one one of Statik's albums than collab with Common. probably in the minority though. that collab does nothing for me. I haven't been huge on Common since Be though. Finding Forever was GOOD, not great. all downhill from there.

if Nas cut out about 4-5 tracks on his album it would be #1 for me. i rank Killer Mike and Ab Soul above him as of now. again if he cut out like 4-5 tracks on Life is Good it would blow both of those out of the water.


also I haven't heard the RZA album yet, nor Kendrick Lamar, nor the dude married to Derek Jeter's sister (blanking on his name ATM), nor something else i downloaded this week. I listened to the latest Freeway mixtape this week. something about Free annoys me. I think he needs special production (jake one) that fits his flow to appeal to me. some tracks just come off awful too me b/c he can't ride a beat correctly.
