So.....how are they like Death Row then? I see no similarities, other than being a popular label.

Thing that set Death Row apart, particularly 94-95 Death Row was the producers they had access too. Not just Dre and Daz, but they had Quik in the fold then, they had Devante doing work, as well as a gang of others both credited and uncredited. The MUSIC on those records is just incredible in that run. Best non sample-based hip hop production ever.
